Windows Desktop App – Installation

Follow the steps below to run the Quantum Polycontextural Demo on Windows. This build is unsigned, so Windows SmartScreen may warn about the executable. Use the override steps provided to continue.

Download & Launch

1. Download QuantumPolycontexturalDemo-0.1.0-win.zip.
2. Right-click the ZIP → “Extract All…” (or use your preferred unzip tool).
3. Inside the extracted folder, double-click QuantumPolycontexturalDemo.exe.

Handling SmartScreen

1. If Windows shows “Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting”: click More info.
2. Click Run anyway. This whitelists the app for future launches.
3. If your organization enforces additional policies, ask IT to allow the executable’s hash.

Using the App

• Select Online mode to submit benchmark jobs (requires API key).
• Select Offline mode to replay the reference run without internet access.
• Use the export buttons to save JSON results or capture a PDF.

Troubleshooting

• Antivirus blocks download: add an exception for the ZIP or request IT assistance.
• SmartScreen dialog doesn’t show “More info”: ensure you’re logged in as an administrator.
